- 350g Pasta (Conchiglie)
- 1 Courgette
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 tbsp capers (optional)
- A dash of wine (optional)
- 100g bacon lardons (optional)
- Parmesan/sheeps cheese to serve (optional)
Step by Step Instructions
Grate the courgette into a bowl & add the garlic, oil, lemon juice, chilli, salt, pepper & any extra herbs you fancy adding. Mix it all up and that’s your sauce done!
Get your pasta on the boil.
Fry bacon lardons in a drop of oil until crispy then remove the bacon and put to one side. Leaving the bacon fat in the pan.
Fry the capers in the bacon fat for a couple mins, before adding a dash of wine.
When the pasta is cooked, stir in the courgette sauce, the capers in bacon fat & the crispy lardons. Top with parmesan and enjoy!
