Ingredients
- 360g pasta (Mezze Maniche)
- 300g Italian pork sausage
- 250ml double cream
- 60g Grated Parmesan
- 1/2 tsp saffron threads
- salt and pepper to taste
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Remove the skin from the sausage and cook in chunks. Cook in a little olive oil until browned.
Step 2
Put the pasta on to cook, according to packet instructions.
Step 3
Add the cream to the sausage, along with the saffron and mix well. Bring to a simmer and allow the sauce to thicken.
Step 4
Once the pasta is cooked, add to the sauce along with some pasta water and the grated Parmesan and mix well
Step 5
Serve immediately and top with salt, pepper and extra cheese
