Spicy Sausage Pasta

“Creamy, spicy and delicious!! Using gochujang for the sweet spicy flavour is such a game changer but you can use any chilli paste and this will be delicious.  I also used some premium quality pasta from The Yorkshire Pasta  Company which was 10/10 “

Serves 4


  • 4 sausages (skin removed)

  • 2 shallots

  • 1 clove garlic

  • Salt & pepper

  • 1 tsp tomato puree

  • 1 tbsp gochujang or chilli paste

  • 500g Mezze Manchie Pasta
  • 1-2 ladles pasta water

  • 150ml double cream

  • Handful grated parmesan

  • optionally add chilli flakes for extra spice

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Crumple / smash the sausages in the pan until you have little sausage pieces. Fry on high heat for 6-7 minutes until browned

Step 2

Once browned, begin to cook your pasta

Step 3

Add in the shallot and fry for 3-4 more minutes then add in the garlic and fry for a further minute

Step 4

Add in the tomato puree and gochujang then fry with the sausages until combined before adding in the double cream and pasta water

Step 5

Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes then add your cooked pasta and Parmesan
